Dr. Andrew Greller, VMD, DAVCO

Dr. Andrew Greller is a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist and primary owner of STVO since 2013. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Biology & Environmental Studies from the University of Michigan and his doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania. After school, Dr. Greller completed a small animal internship at Animal Ophthalmology Clinic in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas and then a 3-year ophthalmology residency in Phoenix, Arizona. He volunteers his services in a variety of meaningful ways such as free annual examinations to Guide Dogs of Texas as well as military working dogs at Lackland Air Force Base. He assists SeaWorld-San Antonio and the San Antonio Zoo with their ophthalmology cases as well. The following publications have covered Dr. Greller and his excellent customer service; The Washington Post, The San Antonio Express- News; North Central News, San Antonio Magazine, and San Antonio Business Journal. Dr. Greller was nominated by his clients and honored with the 2013 "Pick of the Litter" award by the San Antonio Area Foundation's 'Talk About It!' campaign, which seeks to recognize outstanding veterinarians in the local community. In 2014, Dr. Greller was nominated by his clients and chosen as a finalist for the 2014 San Antonio Business Journal 'Health Care Heroes' “Rising Star” category, which celebrates health care professionals under the age of 40 who is making great strides and turning heads in the field. Dr. Greller sits on the board for Guide Dogs of Texas and the San Antonio Zoo and is the owner of The Greller Gallery, an art space dedicated to inspiring and educating people on various animal and environmental causes.

Currently raising a visually impaired golden retriever, I understand the special bond we have with our animals and I feel their eyes speak to us. They are family, and we don't want to see them suffer.”

Dr. Lynsey Wagner, DVM, DACVO

Dr. Lynsey Wagner is a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist and has been part of the STVO team since June 2014. She earned her bachelor of science degree in Biomedical Science and doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Texas A&M University. After school, Dr. Wagner completed a rotating small animal internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital and then a 3-year ophthalmology residency in Phoenix, Arizona. Throughout her professional training and career, Dr. Wagner has received many recognitions for her outstanding services and academic achievements including the John W. Clarke Memorial Endowment Fund Award, Patton W. Burns Award, Pfizer Small Animal Clinical Proficiency Award, W.W. & Mary Wallace Armistead Fund and Eye Care for Animals’ Resident of the Year. While practicing in Austin and Houston, she volunteered with the Austin Humane Society, Austin Pets Alive, the Austin Animal Shelter and the Houston Zoo. Dr. Wagner has received national press on some of her unique cases including The Huffington Post, MSNnow and made the front page of Yahoo News. Dr. Wagner sits on the board of the Veterinary Medical Association of Bexar County and is an active supporter of SNIPSA and participates in the “Big Fix” events.

Dr. Danielle Boyd, DVM, MPH

Dr. Danielle Boyd is a resident at STVO and joined the team in 2016. She began her veterinary career at Pima Community College where she became a licensed-certified veterinary technician. She then earned her bachelors of science degree in Agribusiness/ Pre-vet at Arizona State University followed by her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine and her Masters in Public Health from St. George's University. Dr. Boyd completed her fourth/clinical year of veterinary school at North Caroline State University. Following her school years, Dr. Boyd completed a one year small animal medicine and surgery rotating internship at Veterinary Specialty Center of Tucson in Arizona. From there, she completed a one year ophthalmology specialty internship at Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital and VCA Great Lakes Veterinary Specialists in Ohio. programs. Some of her community services have included spay/neuter and vaccine programs in under served communities and Indian reservations, human hospitals supporting therapy dog programs, soup kitchens prepping meals for families in-need during the holidays and tutoring children during after school programs.

Misty, Veterinary Technician

Misty was born in Dallas, Texas but raised in San Antonio, Texas since the age of 5yrs old. Misty has been working in the veterinary field since 2006. Her favorite part of being a veterinary technician is helping animals during their time of need. When not working, Misty enjoys going to the beach, fishing, attending sporting events and concerts and spending time with her family. She has two pets - “Maynard”(9-yrs old lab/weiner mix) and “Taz” (3-yrs old siamese cat).

Liz, Licensed Veterinary Technician

Liz was born in Bartlett, Illinois, a suburb near Chicago and then moved to San Antonio, Texas 2011. She has been working in the veterinary field since 2007. Liz enjoys working in the veterinary field because it allows her to help animals when they can’t help themselves. For fun, Liz goes to the movies, goes to concerts, travels, reads books, works out, and goes shooting. She has six cats - “Jane” (5-yrs old), “Elwood” (3-yrs old), “Bruce” (1.5-yrs old), “Romeo" (1.5-yrs old), “Watson", and “April".

Jennifer “JC", Veterinary Technician

JC was born and raised in Houston, Texas and moved to San Antonio in 2014. She began working in the veterinary field in 2007 because she enjoys seeing pets healthy and happy. JC loves to ride rollercoasters, going to the movies, going to Comic-Cons, working in the yard, and grilling. JC has 5 cats and 3 dogs.

Brittany was born in San Antonio, Texas and raised in Devine, Texas. She moved back to San Antonio in 2016 and is fairly new to the veterinary field. Brittany enjoys building relationships with the STVO clients and engaging and playing with their 4-legged pets too! When she is not working, Brittany enjoys spending time with her new puppy, boyfriend and family and friends. She has one pet – Miniature Aussie named Ozzy.

"As one of the front desk receptionists at STVO, it is my goal to engage with our clients and their pets and to make sure that their combined experience is the best it can be."


Madison was born in Dallas, Texas and moved to San Antonio when she was three years old. She is fairly new to the veterinary field, but enjoys being in an animal loving work environment. Madison enjoys visiting with the STVO patients every day, all day! When she is not working, Madison enjoys spending time with friends and family, working out and cheering on the Spurs! She has one pet – Chocolate Lab named Brody.

Cheryl, Client Service Representative

Cheryl was born and raised in Seguin, Texas and began working in the veterinary field in 2016. She enjoys working with animals because they are her passion and she loves seeing all the different breeds that visit the practice. Cheryl loves to read, take her dogs out, and being outside. Cheryl has two labrador retrievers.

"As a new reception team member of STVO, my goal is to grow my knowledge of the veterinary medical field and give our customer's the best experience possible when dealing with pet medical needs."

Meg, Practice Manager

Meg’s passion and love for animals inspired her to join STVO as their Practice Administrator/HR in 2015; applying nearly 20 years of experience in the field of ophthalmology not only as an administrator, but also as an Ophthalmic Medical & Surgical Technologist on the human side. Meg enjoys working with her team to continue to deliver best practices, customer service, and most importantly compassion to her peers, clients, & our patients. Meg enjoys hiking, jogging & occasional game of golf.
